About forum

The International Transport and Logistics Forum is a key platform for showcasing the achievements of the industry and holding in-depth discussions on the development of transport logistics, regulatory frameworks, digitalization, and the implementation of innovative solutions.
The Forum is held in accordance with Russian President’s orders to ensure our transport corridors are competitive globally and implement our National Development Goals until 2030 with a Perspective until 2036.
The Forum will bring together representatives of the federal executive and legislative authorities, international organizations, Russian and foreign transport companies, as well as members of the business, expert, and media communities.
The Forum’s business agenda will address the following development issues:
  • the development of the international transport corridor infrastructure
  • freight and passenger logistics
  • tourism
  • digital services
  • innovative solutions
  • transport regulations
  • the global transport industry
  • the implementation of advanced technologies
The Forum is organized by the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, with the Roscongress Foundation acting as the event operator.

FORUM VENUE

The International Transport and Logistics Forum takes place in the Tavrichesky Palace, the headquarters of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The Tavrichesky Palace offers the perfect combination of modern technical facilities for Forum participants and a splendid historic interior.
The Palace features all the rooms and halls required for holding major international symposiums, conferences, forums, and business meetings.
The Tavrichesky Palace is an outstanding monument of St. Petersburg architecture, garden and park art, history and culture.
Some of the best architects, painters, decorators, gardeners, sculptors, and portrait artists from the 18th through the first half of the 19th century contributed to its creation and transformation.
Located in St. Petersburg’s historic centre, the Palace stands next to the Tavrichesky Garden – one of the city’s most beautiful green areas.

The federal executive body for transport, exercising functions related to the development of state policy and the normative and legal regulation of civil aviation; the use of airspace and air navigation services for users of Russian airspace; aerospace search and rescue; sea (including seaports), inland waterway, rail, automobile (including the operation of transport control at checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation), off-road, urban ground electric and industrial transport; road management; the operation and safety of shipping hydraulic structures; transport security; as well as the state regulation of rights to aircraft and transactions with them and the organizational and legal management of road traffic on motorways.

The Roscongress Foundation

The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of nationwide and international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, youth, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 209 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5,000 people working in Russia and abroad.

The Foundation works alongside various UN departments and other international organizations, and is building multi-format cooperation with 229 economic partners, including industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions, financial, trade, and business associations from 90 countries worldwide, and 360 Russian public organizations, federal and regional executive and legislative bodies of the Russian Federation.
