CURRENCY AND BANK CARD TRANSACTIONS
Currency Exchange Operations
Please note the following restrictions when making currency exchange transactions:
- U.S. dollars, euros, Chinese yuan, UAE dirhams, Turkish lira, and other currencies can be freely exchanged for Russian roubles. Sberbank branches offer foreign exchange operations in approximately 18 currencies. Exchange rates and branch addresses are available here.
- You must present a valid ID for currency exchange transactions.
- Visa or Mastercard cards issued outside of Russia CANNOT be used to exchange foreign currency for Russian roubles. Nor can these cards be used to withdraw Russian roubles.

Bank Cards
- In light of the current restrictions on the use of foreign bank cards in Russia, we recommend that you carry cash with you for the entire duration of your stay at the Forum.
- Mir payment system cards with any currency work without restriction in Russia. Participants are advised to obtain a card or bring an existing card with them.
